Walgreens September 27 (Double Dipping!)

Today was my first time "Double Dipping" at Walgreens! The September EasySaver Catalog and the October EasySaver Catalog overlapped yesterday and today--offering maximum savings for those willing to do a little planning. There was also a $5 off $20 purchase coupon at Walgreens.com. (If none of that made sense to you, stay tuned...I will be writing some tutorials very soon.)

The last part was rang up wrong...Here's what's on the receipt:

(2) Oral-B toothbrushes
$1.99 Each Sale Price
Used (2) $1 October EasySaver Coupon
Used (1) $1 Manufacturer Coupon
Used (1) 75 cent Manufacturer Coupon
Final Price: 24 cents for both

In actuality, I got 1 Oral-B and 1 Colgate toothbrush. The Colgate was $2.99, but the EasySaver coupon for it was $2. One of the manufacturer coupons above was for the Colgate and the cashier just forced it through. My price would have been the same either way.

My Out-of-Pocket was $20.10. I got the $4.50 Register Rewards immediately, and I will get back $17.49 plus 10% in Rebates.

So, I'm a happy girl! I look forward to double dipping again next month!

I am up way too late tonight trying to plan my shopping trip tomorrow. I am about to throw my coupon organizer against the wall. I don't have half of the coupons that I should!! What good is it to get a newspaper delivered if I don't get all of my coupons. How are you getting all of yours (besides coupon clippers)? How are you deciding what coupons to buy? Can you tell I need a little help. I hope I see you tomorrow morning- I have lots of questions.
