Kroger Mega Sale

The Daytona Event at Kroger has already begun at most stores across the country whose ads run from Sunday to Saturday. I am blessed to live in an area where the ad runs Wednesday to Tuesday. I call this a blessing because I always get a "heads-up" on the sales! Another reason this is great is that we get another batch of coupons on Sunday in the middle of the sale. They may or may not match up, but I'd rather have the opportunity!

This Daytona Event looks eerily similar to the last one. Buy 10 participating items and you get $3 off your order instantly.

I will be stocking up on Ragu and Manwich and getting a couple things of Breyer's Ice Cream and Chef Boyardee. The Betty Crocker fruit snacks are going to be a great deal by matching the sale with coupons and getting back a catalina.

These Mega Events usually last two weeks, so pace yourself. There are almost always items included in the sale that are not necessarily listed in the ad. It's like a little fun game of Eye-Spy! :)

Why, O Coupons, Why?

I just need to vent a small frustration...

I stocked UP on Pillsbury biscuits during the Daytona Event, only for them to go on sale at $1 with a MONEYMAKING catalina deal two weeks later after I'd used almost all my coupons.

This past week, I was so proud of myself for getting Fiber One bars and Nature Valley granola bars for just 70 cents. This week, I could have used those same coupons to get them for just 20 cents! UGH!

However, when I hold on to my coupons waiting for a better deal, it doesn't always come along.

I know I have no real reason to complain--I'm still getting good deals. But kicking myself all the time is starting to hurt a little... :D

Pillsbury Deal @ Kroger

Kroger has a really great deal going on right now with Pillsbury products.

The weekly ad states the 10 count Homestyle biscuits and 5 count GRANDS! biscuits are $1 each, but many other varieties are on sale in store.

Pillsbury is always great about putting out coupons, so you probably have a bunch in your stash.

Here's the kicker: There is a catalina to pair up with these already great prices! (Makes me wish I hadn't bought so many dadgum biscuits during the Daytona event...)

Here's the offer:

Buy any Pillsbury Refrigerated Crescent, Cookies, Sweet Rolls, GRANDS! Biscuits, GRANDS! Cinnamon Rolls, Dinner Rolls, Loaves, Breadsticks, or Pizza Crust

between 2/23 & 3/22

Buy (3) & Get $1.50...OR
Buy (4) & Get $2.00...OR
Buy (5) or More & Get $3.00...
Coupon Off Your Next Order.

All items must be purchased in one shopping order. Limited to product in stock. No cash back.

I'm looking to stock up on the Crescent Rolls and Sweet Rolls!

Once again...

My busy little life has inhibited my blogging. I'm okay with that, really, because my family comes first. I just hate not being able to share my deals & steals with you guys while they can still be repeated by YOU!

I'll be posting up my Brookshire's match-up in just a bit along with some of my shopping trips from last week.

Between the Mega Event at Kroger two weeks ago, the Daytona Event at Kroger still going on now, and a sale at Brookshire's that could satisfy any sweet tooth, my stockpile runneth over!

There is a report of NO COUPONS on Sunday along with a fairly blah preview at CVS and Wags. I'm actually looking forward to very little shopping next week!

Especially since Saturday is my BIRTHDAY!
