If you buy two products on sale "Buy 1 Get 1 FREE", how many items are you purchasing?
You are still purchasing 2 items and therefore can still use 2 coupons.
This is a generally accepted rule, but it is not necessarily hard and fast. {Situation may vary with an incessantly beeping register or an overcritical cashier.}
Same goes for things like "Buy 1 Get 1 50% off" or "Buy 1 Get 1 for a Penny".
