I did a transaction in the morning at a store across town...
2 Kroger Enchilada Sauces
.89 each
1 Kroger Green Chiles
$1
2 Kroger 2-Liter Sodas
.69 each
4 Starkist Tuna Pouches

Used 4 $1 off coupons from VocalPoint

2 Hormel Chili
$1 Sale Price
Used .55/2 MQ from 1/18 SS insert
Final Price: .45 each
Kroger Comforts Toddler Wipes
$1
Used $1 peelie for Comforts Baby Care
Final Price: FREE
Total Paid: $5.73
Total Saved: $9.45 or 65%
Then I stopped on the way home to get refrigerated goods...
2 Horizon Organic Milk Gallons
$1.99 each on Markdown
Pineapple Orange Juice
$2.19
And who could resist Mini Oreos for $1? Not I...
Total Paid: $7.67
Total Saved: Depends on how you look at it.
The receipt says $1.29 because it doesn't reflect the Markdown savings=$1.29.
The Markdown savings would actually add $5 for each gallon of milk=$11.29.
But, on the other hand, I wouldn't have bought the organic milk if it hadn't been cheaper than buying the regular kind. Regular would have been $3.34. So I quote my savings at $1.35 per gallon=$3.99.
